Comedian-actor Sunil Grover is excited about his first Punjabi film Vaisakhi List.
Grover first won the hearts of viewers by playing Gutthi on TV show Comedy Nights with Kapil.
Tweeting the first poster of the film, which also stars Jimmy Sheirgill and Shruti Sodhi, Grover said he is looking forward to the film’s release in India on April 22.
“1st March! New beginnings. Poster release of my first Punjabi Film #vaisakhilist. Here it is,” he posted on Tuesday.
In the poster, Grover, who has acted in Bollywood films Ghajini and Gabbar is Back, can be seen on a motorbike with Sheirgill and Sodhi.
The two actors look like prisoners on the run as they are dressed in jail outfits. Sodhi, on the other hand, is all decked up in bridal wear. They are being chased by men with sticks.
He might have ventured into Punjabi films, but he hasn’t left the small screen. Come April, he will be seen with comedian-actor Kapil Sharma on his new show The Kapil Sharma Show.
