Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is trying to make sure his film Raees and Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil avoid a box office clash in India on January 26.

“We have spoken to Hrithik and Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar [producers of Raees]. We spoke to them a month back as they were just starting so we can do some adjustments,” Khan said.

“So, Rakesh ji [Kaabil producer Rakesh Roshan] and Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar will be meeting again. We are figuring it out so that we don’t clash,” he added.

Kaabil is directed by Sanjay Gupta and features has Roshan and Yami Gautam in the lead.

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Raees features Khan and Mahira Khan.

Earlier, Raees was going to release with Salman Khan’s Sultan.

“I think a big film has its own level of release. It should release in 3,500-4,000 theatres. When two big films releases, we don’t get a theatrical release we want,” Khan said.

“Until the time we don’t have 8,000-10,000 theatres, no two big films can come out. We were working on Raees and I got hurt [so it got pushed]. The film is ready but we are yet to shoot that last shot,” he added.
