Sonu Nigam: Taking break for fitter future
The singer, who got a knee surgery done two months ago, will undergo a second one soon
Singer Sonu Nigam, who will undergo a knee surgery on June 7, says he just wants to take a break for a “fitter future”.
The 42-year-old year had recently gotten osteotomy done, the surgical cutting of a bone especially to allow realignment, and will undergo a second surgery soon.
“I am very much at home. Had a surgery called osteotomy done two and a half months back. Thus, limited mobility. I will get a second surgery done soon. Just want to take this break for a fitter future,” said Nigam.
He is likely to undergo surgery on his left knee. Also, he is said to have cancelled all his concerts till he recovers completely.
According to media reports, the surgery was necessary because Nigam has been playing squash without proper guidance.
