Actress Sonakshi Sinha’s next film is Noor — an adaptation of Saba Imtiaz’s Karachi, You’re Killing Me!.
And the connection — an astrologer once told her that books are lucky for her — is not lost on her.
“I don’t believe in these things but it is a happy coincidence. Noor and Lootera both are films very close to my heart,” Sonakshi said in a statement, referencing Vikramaditya Motwane’s 2013 film Lootera, an adaptation of The Last Leaf by O.Henry.
Directed by Sunhil Sippy, Noor, which also features Kanan Gill, Shibani Dandekar and Purab Kohli, is slated to release on April 21 in India.
