Shalmali Kholgade is the latest singer to join the Desi Fiesta event, which features headliner Armaan Malik.
The event is set to take place on October 27 at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, with more artist announcements expected closer to the date.
The award-winning Khlogade is a fairly recent Bollywood find, with song credits to her name that includes Pareshaan (Ishaqzaade), Balam Pichkari (Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani), Lat Lag Gayi (Race 2) and Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai (Sultan), among others.
Meanwhile, Malik, whose biggest hits include Main Hoon Hero Tera (Hero), Besabriyaan (MS Dhoni), Sau Aasmaan (Baar Baar Dekho), commands a large fan-following with the millennials, according to organisers NEP Events.
The event will also include food trucks, with limited VIP table seating. Tickets will be sold in phases, with the first one already sold out; the second phase tickets are priced at Dh85 and a third one will take them to Dh125.
