Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor will tie the knot with fiancee Mira Rajput in Gurgaon on July 7, according to his wedding card that has surfaced online.
The 34-year-old actor got engaged to Rajput, 21, earlier this year and there was a lot of speculation regarding the wedding venue. But the wedding card finally puts the rumours to rest.
The elegant off-white invite states that the ceremony will be held at a five-star hotel in Gurgaon. It bears the names of Rajput’s parents Bela and Vikramaditya Rajput alongside Kapoor’s mother Neelima Azeem, father Pankaj Kapur and his wife Supriya.
The family has also requested guests to not bring any gifts.
According to reports, Kapoor and Rajput met at the Radha Soami Satsang Beas, a religious group that both their families are part of.
There aren’t many details about the guest list but it is expected to be a small and intimate affair, followed by a grand reception in Mumbai, to be attended by several Bollywood personalities.
The bride is reportedly wearing a design by Anamika Khanna, while the groom will be in Kunal Rawal. The couple are planning to wear matching colours on their big day.
