Have you been wondering what went into creating a theme-park ride starring Hrithik Roshan, Bollywood’s new-age superhero? Your wait is over.
On Tuesday afternoon, Bollywood Parks Dubai released a behind-the-scenes video of Roshan, who became a popular superhero after his blockbuster Krrish, showing footage of him working on his 4D flying theatre ride Krrish: Hero’s Flight.
The video was released a few days after the video of Shah Rukh Khan’s Making of Don: The Chase attraction went public on the amusement park’s Facebook page, and more videos are due to be released on a weekly basis, park organisers say.
The park is scheduled to open on October 31 as part of the Dubai Parks and Resorts complex near Jebel Ali.
The ride that follows the life of the superhero Krrish, who faces an elaborate conspiracy orchestrated by an evil genius. The Mohenjo Daro star appears as a masked hero who will take you on a panoramic flying ride across India’s famous landscapes.
The action director, Shyam Kaushal, describes Roshan as a perfectionist.
“Hrithik Roshan is nothing short of a perfectionist and he has put his heart and soul into every shot,” said Kaushal in a statement.
This zone will also be home to a Bollywood movie production and a live stage show, based on the Roshan’s blockbuster Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Also part of the Hall of Heroes is the RA.One ride, which is a 4D multi-sensory theatre experience that will take the audience on a virtual thrill ride.
Daily entry to the park is Dh285 for adults and Dh245 for children and those over 60. An annual pass is Dh755.
