Rishi Kapoor says the team of his 2010 film Do Dooni Chaar should have attempted a sequel of the comedy-drama.

Filmmaker Habib Faisal’s movie marked the on-screen return of the hit Rishi-Neetu Singh pair as a lead couple, who previously acted in numerous hits during the 1970s.

“Time flies. 5 years of DDC. Habib we should have attempted a sequel. Anyway, a film we the team will cherish [sic],” Kapoor posted on twitter.

Do Dooni Chaar, which released on October 8, 2010, is a story about a middle-class school teacher who tries to keep his wife and children happy in inflationary times and dreams of buying a car.
