Ranveer Singh, the “live wire” of Bollywood, turned 30 on Monday and his colleagues, including close friend Arjun Kapoor and co-stars Parineeti Chopra and Sonakshi Sinha, wished the quirky star.

Singh, who made his debut with Maneesh Sharma’s Band Baaja Baarat alongside Anushka Sharma, has starred in films such as Lootera, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and Gunday in his five-year long career.

Kapoor, whose friendship with Singh has been going strong since the two acted together in Gunday, was one of the first to wish him.

“Happy Burday Bollywood ka portable charger Hindustan ki energy drink the Natkhat Nakhreela Nutella @RanveerOfficial,” he wrote.

“Happpppp b’day to my first hero, my linguistic buddy, my LUST!!!! LOVEE THIS GUY RANVEER SINGH BHAVNANI ARGHHHHHHH!!!” tweeted Chopra, who made her debut opposite the actor in Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl.

Chopra’s Gunday and Bajirao Mastani co-star Priyanka Chopra also wished the birthday boy.

Gunday director Ali Abbas Zafar also posted a birthday tweet.

“Happy birthday @RanveerOfficial. Madness unlimited. May Allah bless you with all the success, love and happiness,” he wrote.

“Happy birthday to the king of crazy! Lootera baba @RanveerOfficial. Jiyo, jiyo mere laal,” tweeted Sinha.

Casting director Shanoo Sharma, said to be the one who found the actor, also wished him.

“And it was born! I love you! God bless! Accha read and see below! You are my king!” she wrote.

Anil Kapoor, who played Singh’s father in their latest film Dil Dhadakne Do, tweeted, “Happy B’Day to the ultimate live wire. my TigerCub! @RanveerOfficial Love u!”
