Ranveer Singh’s selfie from a hospital bed left many amused and the actor said he posted the picture online just for fun.
Singh, 29, was in surgery for a shoulder injury he got while shooting an action sequence from his upcoming film Bajirao Mastani.
“It was a big action scene and I was riding a horse when the accident happened. I broke my shoulder and tore some ligament, which had to be re-attached. Now I am in the physiotherapy phase and trying to get stronger to resume work,” Singh said.
When asked about the much-retweeted selfie, where he is seen grinning on the operating table just before the surgery, Singh laughed and said: “I was there lying in the bed when someone came and asked for a selfie. I said no initially but then I thought, why not? I posted the picture just for a kick. I think it has never been done before and many people were amused by it,” he said.
