UAE fans of Priyanka Chopra, rejoice: The first episode of her US TV debut, Quantico, airs here just hours after it premieres in the US.
Chopra — one of Bollywood’s biggest stars — is crossing over to US primetime TV with the ABC drama, in which she plays an FBI trainee at the agency’s Quantico base. The twist? One of her class of recruits is suspected of a terrorist attack on New York City; plus there’s plenty of inter-class drama of the romantic kind.
The series airs on OSN First HD on September 28 at 10pm; it starts in the US the night before.
Quantico is just one of the many pies Chopra has her former-Miss-World-fingers in: She’s nominated for an MTV EMA for her single with Pitbull, In My City (the awards take place in Milan on October 15, and she stars in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s glitzy Bollywood historical drama Bajirao Mastani alongside fellow bright young things Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh; it’s out in December.
