Padmaavat designers Rimple and Harpreet Narula, who created clothes for Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor’s stints in the film, will showcase the key pieces from that collection at an exhibition in Dubai on January 27 at Roda Al Murooj Hotel.
Rimple and Narula are one of among the 45 designers who will show at the SoPritti Fashion & Lifestyle Exhibition.
“We will be bringing a mix of formal and everyday wear ensembles. I will also bring a capsule collection of the clothes from Padmaavat that I have been on for the last one year. SoPritti is one of my favourite exhibitions because we get to meet buyers and shoppers who cannot make it to Delhi for our creations. All of them who attend the exhibition will be able to identify many of the techniques and embroidery used in the film in our clothes,” said Rimple in an interview with Gulf News tabloid!. It’s their first Bollywood costume designing debut with Padmaavat.
The entrance to their exhibition is free.
