Bollywood actor Kapil Sharma is likely to be in Dubai for a day on November 16 to promote his new comedy, Firangi.

According to organisers, the actor will visit the Gurudwara Gurunanank Darbar, the place of worship for the Sikh community, in Jebel Ali, at 11am followed by a series of interviews with the local press at a private hotel.

Sharma, who has been in the news for his alleged alcohol addiction and anxiety, has been keeping a low-profile ever since his public spat with his colleague Sunil Grover in March. His attempt to clean up his act has also been well-documented.

However, there was reportedly a misstep from the actor on Tuesday.

According to reports, Sharma was a no-show on Tuesday at the Akshay Kumar-led TV show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, where the actor was expected to promote Firangi. It remains to be seen if Sharma will keep his date with Dubai.
