Kangana Ranaut says she has found good friends in actresses Vidya Balan and Priyanka Chopra amid her legal troubles with Hrithik Roshan.

Ranaut, 29, and her Krrish 3 co-star Roshan, 42, have been at loggerheads since early this year, with both stars filing legal notices against each other. While Roshan says they have never had a romantic relationship, Ranaut maintains otherwise.

Balan, Sonam Kapoor and Kalki Koechlin have praised Ranaut for standing up for herself.

“All my girls are just amazing. We don’t discuss our personal lives, like, nobody ever questioned me, ‘What happened?’ But all I get is calls, lots of love and concern. Everybody has called me and asked [about] me, whether it’s Priyanka, Vidya or Sonam. A lot of men have responded too,” Ranaut said in an interview.

The Tanu Weds Manu Returns star says she is happy that people in the industry have reached out to both her and Roshan, as that is a testament to the bond actors share with their colleagues.

“I think it’s about the personal equation someone has with you. You don’t see things objectively. You do get emotional if bonding is there and that’s the most important thing. In this situation, be it me or the other side, we haven’t been crucified, she said.

“I feel that tomorrow if I see two people in such a situation, I would want to reach out, not to find out [the details] but just to see that the two people are okay. I am honoured to be in this place, where people are much more human than I could think,” Ranaut added.
