The trailer of Sanjay Gupta’s Kaabil trailer is out and it’s all about revenge. Also, we discover that Hrithik Roshan is not the only blind character in the film. The trailer reveals that his co-star, Yami Gautam, is also blind. And there is no attempt to hide the couple’s world of darkness from the audience.
The first half of this sharply-divided trailer shows the visually impaired couple meeting, falling in love and getting married. The second half of the trailer gets dark when Gautam’s character falls victim to brutal violence.
And as expected, law is not on their side.
“Your world is even darker than mine,” Roshan tells a policeman.
Whatever the nature of the retribution against the villains (played by real-life brothers Ronit and Rahul Roy), one knows that the blind hero means business.
This is a vendetta tale of a blind man who is madly in love with his wife, whose violent death leaves him stunned with the knowledge that there is little justice in the world.
The film is set to release in India on Republic Day, January 26, 2017.
