Actress Juhi Chawla has hinted that she will be appearing on TV soon.

“I’m still listening to [movie] scripts, and films take time to be made, so probably you’ll soon see me again on TV,” Chawla said in Mumbai on Saturday.

Chawla has hosted and featured in a number of award shows and has been on filmmaker Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan with fellow actress Madhuri Dixit Nene.

But her most notable work on television has been as a judge on the third season of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, accompanied by choreographers Saroj Khan and Vaibhavi Merchant.

Chawla was last seen in the movie Chalk N Duster, a film about the lives of school teachers.

“A few days ago, we held a show for 500 teachers and some of them spoke to other teachers and now there’s going to be a show for another 500 teachers. So if you like something and make certain efforts for it, it moves forward. Films definitely take matters ahead, and if films are made on good topics, it is a positive thing,” Chawla said.

“Our films tremendously influence people. But at the same time, no one goes to the cinema to listen to lectures, so if you have an interesting story, and if you can showcase it as a film, and its messages are good, then it’s like an icing on the cake. It shall be a superhit. And if I get those kind of films, I’ll definitely want to work on it,” she added.
