Jazbaa director Sanjay Gupta says the movie is being dubbed in numerous international languages.

“I don’t want to make any claims that we’re making the film to cross the borders. But there is an intention in place. There are cuts of the film being readied, dubbed and released widely all across the UAE. It’s been dubbed in Arabic. We’re also dubbing it in other South American languages [Spanish and Portuguese], and English. So there are international cuts with a slight[ly] shorter length that will be going out apart from the diaspora release,” he said to queries on how wide the appeal of the film was.

He was interacting with media at the trailer launch of the action thriller along with its stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Irrfan Khan.

The question was prompted by the fact that Jazbaa features two internationally renowned stars. While Rai Bachchan is known internationally for her Miss World crown and other appearances such as in Cannes, Khan is known for several roles in Hollywood movies.

On reports that Rai Bachchan had adopted a profit-sharing model of remuneration for the film, Gupta said that it was all success-sharing while she heartily laughed it off, telling the journalist to come to her office to discuss the issue.

Jazbaa is a remake of a Korean film and is scheduled to release on October 9.
