The video for Jacqueline Fernandez’s take on Madhuri Dixit Nene’s Ek Do Teen is finally out and critics aren’t impressed.
The iconic song from 1988’s Tezaab shot Dixit Nene to fame and has been remixed for the upcoming Baaghi 2, which releases in the UAE on March 29.
In the new track, Fernandez, “whose repertoire and range of facial expressions go from A to B as opposed to Madhuri’s A to Z,” according to one critic, sees the younger actress dress like Dixit Nene in the original song.
The track has been choreographed by Saroj Khan, director Ahmad Khan and Ganesh Acharya.
The song was originally sung by Alka Yagnik, with Shreya Ghoshal lending her voice to the new version.
