Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan was at Istanbul’s Ataturk airport a few hours before the terrorist attack that has killed at least 36 people.
The 42-year-old Bang Bang! star, who was vacationing in Africa with sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan, was on his way back to India.
“Missed connecting flight at Istanbul and were stuck at airport next flight was next day, but took economy and flew out earlier. #Prayers4istanbul,” Hrithik tweeted.
The actor thanked airport staff for their assistance and asked his fans to come together in the fight against terrorism.
“Was helped by the kindest staff at Istanbul airport hours ago. Shocking news. Innocents killed for religion. We must stand united against terrorism,” he added.
Three suspected Daesh suicide bombers targeted the international terminal of Istanbul’s Ataturk airport, killing at least 36 people and wounding many others.
