He picked unconventional roles to venture into Hindi cinema, debuting as an obsessive lover in Raanjhanaa and a dumb and mute person in his second Bollywood outing Shamitabh. Now actor Dhanush says he is waiting for the right script to come his way.

“I’m waiting for the next script. So, lets see when the right script comes,” Dhanush said.

The actor was in the capital to receive the National Film Award for his co-production Kaaka Muttai. The Tamil drama, which narrates the tale of two children and their journey to get their first bite of pizza, won the award in the Best Children’s Film category.

The son-in-law of southern superstar Rajinikanth noted that he looks to satiate his curiosity level while picking his next project.

“I will take up a project which suits me and gets me curious about the character”, he said.
