Actress Richa Chadha was left “speechless” when she got an opportunity to meet her cinema idol, French actress Marion Cotillard at the Cannes Film Festival.
The 26-year-old actress took to twitter to share her excitement with her fans.
“Speechless when I met my idol in flesh. #Marion Cotillard. Thank you #MasaanAtCannes and Melita. Unbelievable,” Chadha tweeted.
The actress’ film Masaan, which was screened in the Un Certain Regard section of the film fest, has been honoured by the International Federation of Film Critics.
The Neeraj Ghaywan-directed film was also treated to a five-minute long standing ovation during its screening at the annual movie gala.
Before she returns to India to resume the shooting of her next movie, with Pooja Bhatt, Chadha is going on holiday, exploring Paris and Amsterdam.
“The one-point agenda is to take some time off. I will do some leisure reading, shall indulge in some shopping and explore a city all by myself, much away from everything usual. This would be my way to detox before I’m back to India,” she said in a statement.
