Bollywood’s Anil Kapoor had UAE fans up on their feet as the popular actor raced across two emirates to open three jewellery showrooms on a single day.
Kapoor, who was in the country at the behest of Malabar Gold & Diamonds, visited City Centre Sharjah, Lulu Village in Dubai and the brand’s store in Jebel Ali.
Kapoor danced for fans, addressing them with anecdotes and even jumped down from the stage at one point at the Lulu Village to shake hands and pose for selfies with fans.
The actor, who owns a home in Dubai, is currently shooting for his film Fanney Khan, which will see him star with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Over this weekend, filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra also announced that he will be bringing Kapoor and his daughter Sonam Kapoor together for a film titled Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’. Chopra has directed Kapoor in two of his career’s best films, Parinda and 1942 A Love Story.
