Actress Alia Bhatt says she is fond of street-shopping to the extent that she used to go to the market during breaks while shooting for director Gauri Shinde’s next.

The upcoming film stars Shah Rukh Khan and is Shinde’s second film after her directorial debut, English Vinglish.

“I am a boho chick. I like buying the little accessories — sometimes I buy boxes in which I keep jewellery. Especially in Goa, the night flea market is beautiful. When I was shooting for Gauri Shinde’s film, we went to the night flea market,” said Bhatt.

“We were shooting and between shots, I was going and buying something, then coming back. I am not a shopaholic but I love to shop and I love clothes,” she said.

Bhatt was speaking at the launch of a pop-up store for the underprivileged called The Street Store, opened by Anmol Jewellers, Smile Foundation and TNE.

The Highway actress donated clothes for the cause and said since celebrities love to shop, it is very important for them to take part in such causes.

“We always say that we like to do shopping, especially celebrities, we always want to shop. But not many people get that opportunity to go all out and buy whatever they want. So this is a great idea. I have donated my clothes too,” she said.
