Actor Akshay Oberoi’s character in the forthcoming film Fitoor has been kept under wraps as his role contributes to a turning point in the movie.
Playing the role of young Begum Hazrat’s lover (played by actress Aditi Rao Hydari), the story of the film meanders the way it does because of Oberoi’s character and his relationship with the Begum.
“My character in Fitoor is very special for me. I am romancing Begum Hazrat played by Tabu in her younger days, which is portrayed beautifully by Aditi. It’s a unique love story between us and I hope the audience like it,” Oberoi said.
Last seen in the thriller Pizza, the actor also had a special appearance in Piku as Deepika Padukone’s date.
Fitoor is set to release in the UAE on February 11 and also features Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur.
