Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is undecided about taking up a role in the Hindi remake of Tamil film Kaththi.

Directed by A R Murugadoss, Kaththi is an action drama, which features actor Vijay in dual roles. It also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Neil Nitin Mukesh.

The film is to be remade in Hindi. “Yes I am approached for the film. I have not decided about it [doing the film or not],” Kumar said.

The Khiladi actor has worked with Murugadoss on the movie Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty.

Kaththi tells the story of Kathiresan and Jeevanantham, who look alike, and focuses on farmer suicides due to corporate encroachment.

Kumar has came out in support of distressed farmers and donated money to aid farmers in drought-hit Maharashtra.

The 48-year-old actor is currently shooting for Airlift, which is based on the evacuation of Indians in Kuwait during the Iraq-Kuwait War.

The film stars Kumar and Nimrat Kaur in lead roles, and is scheduled for release on January 22, 2016.

Besides this, he will be seen in Housefull 3 and Rustom.

“I have this film [Airlift], Housefull 3 and Rustom,” he added.

There were also talks of Kumar making a sequel to Oh My God. “No. Not yet I am still searching for a good subject,” he said.
