Dubai: A galaxy of stars from the Indian and Pakistani film industries will bowl Dubai over on May 27 with a celebrity cricket match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The Indian team will be led by Bollywood titan Salman Khan while the Pakistani side will be captained by fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar.

Addressing a press conference in Dubai yesterday, Bollywood actor Sohail Khan said that it was heartening to see stars including Riteish Deshmukh, Sharman Joshi, Dino Morea, Ali Zafar and Humayun Saeed extend their support for a charitable cause, the proceeds of which will go towards Salman Khan's charity Being Human.

"...It's wonderful that people are beginning to cross borders and bridge gaps," Khan said. Representing the Pakistani side at the conference was renowned actor and director Javed Shaikh. "We as Pakistanis will extend support to such causes. The most difficult thing in today's world is to be human," Shaikh said.
