After their Bollywood hit Rowdy Rathore, Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha are back with another entertainer titled Joker.

Directed by Shirish Kunder, the comedy is big on one-liners including quips on Salman Khan’s charity Being Human,

“When being Human doesn’t work, try being Alien!”, is one such diaolgue mouthed by hero Kumar in the trailer.

But director Kunder maintains that this outlandish line was given the go-ahead by Khan himself.

“I told Salman about it and he liked it. He found it really funny,” said Kunder, who directed Khan in his first film Jaan-e-man.

“It is my dedication to Salman. He was in my first film (Jaan-e-maan) and now I’m directing him again in Kick so I wanted his association in Joker too in some way. In Joker, the reference is that to get Paglapur in spotlight Akshay had to create a tamasha with aliens. When he approached the issue in a straightforward way, he couldn’t do anything. So, the line says to get attention you need do so something outlandish even if it means getting aliens for help,” said Kunder in a statement.

The film will hit the theatres in the UAE on August 30,
