Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra has collaborated with actor Sanjay Dutt to start a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) league.

Kundra says his wife will stay away from it, but she will be his support system.

Shetty and her husband were co-owners of Indian Premier League's franchise Rajasthan Royals and she was also the face of the team. But the 36-year-old has taken a back-seat and is enjoying her pregnancy.

"My wife has been my bouncing [sounding] board for the last six months. She keeps telling me the kid is kicking away inside so please no more MMA. ‘You go do what you got to do and I support you in anything you do,'" said the businessman, who married Shetty in 2009, at the announcement of the venture along with Dutt.

Meanwhile, Dutt is eager about his entry into the world of sports and says MMA is exciting and not a brash sport.

"I want you all to know it's not like cop fighting in the cage. There are rules and regulations in MMA. If you can watch boxing, then Mixed Martial Arts is more interesting," said the 52-year-old actor, who will soon be seen as the villain Kancha Cheena in the Agneepath remake.

The first MMA event, Super Fight League, will take place in Mumbai on March 11.
