Dubai: American singers Lana Del Rey and Ciara will join fashion legends Suzy Menkes, Roberto Cavalli and Alberta Ferretti at this month's Vogue Dubai Fashion Experience at Dubai Mall.
The second edition of the fashion event, organised by the mall with Vogue Italia, has been expanded from one to three days, from October 30-November 1, and is open to the public.
The stars are due to attend a fashion show at the mall to kick off the event on October 30. Eight designers from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, India, Australia and Italy will be featured. UAE film director Ali Mostafa and Czech model Karolina Kurkova will MC the show.
A new feature this year is two days of talks by fashion luminaries that are open to the public and free to attend. Those wishing to hear insights from the likes of Vogue's international online editor Menkes, designers Cavalli, Ferretti, Philipp Plein, Emilio Pucci's Peter Dundas and Vogue Italia's Franca Sozzani should register on vdfebyemaar.com
The public can also register to attend the two-day International Fashion Showcase at the Armani hotel ballroom, where the work of 20 designers will be on show from 2-6pm on October 31 and November 1.
