Otherwise known as The Edgy Rocker
Where have I seen her before? Twenty-six-year-old Rooney stars as Lisbeth Salander in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - for which she has been handed a Best Actress Oscar nomination.
Signature style After shaving her head and dying the rest of it jet black, bleaching her eyebrows and getting multiple piercings for the part of Salander, Rooney says her personal style transformed too. Previously a fan of girlie nude tones and feminine shapes, Rooney now rocks a much harder look - she's rarely spotted on the red carpet wearing anything but monochrome, and loves a cutaway silhouette. Topped off with a dark and dramatic blunt fringe and her signature scarlet pout, Rooney's edgy look has made her an instant hit with the fashion pack, and she's deemed one of Hollywood's coolest rising stars.
Most likely to be seen shopping at Somewhere that sells lots of black leather, Givenchy or Alexander McQueen.
Felicity Jones
Otherwise known as The New Audrey Hepburn
Where have I seen her before? In new flick, Like Crazy (in which she wore all her own clothes, fashion fact fans), and as the face of Dolce & Gabbana's make-up range.
Signature style Felicity dresses like a lady. She's already modelled for Burberry and, as the face of Dolce & Gabbana, gets first dibs on the new season collection (which just happened to be the most stunning line of 50s, Italian-movie-star-inspired dresses for S/S12.) First catching our attention when she arrived at last year's BAFTAs in vintage Chanel, the 28-year-old Brit is steadily making a fashion name for herself with her modern ladylike choices. Opting for polished knee-length dresses with clean lines and feminine prints, Flick shows off her sylph-like frame in dirndl skirts or pencil shapes, and never wears a mini or a too-low neckline. Classic chic with 21st-century cool, this gorgeous young actress is so one to watch.
Most likely to be seen shopping at Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino and Chanel with pals Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan.
Elizabeth Olsen
Otherwise known as The Quirky Conservative
Where have I seen her before? Towering over her older sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley, and playing an escaped cult member in Martha Marcy May Marlene.
Signature style Aside from not being as terrifyingly waif-like as her twin sisters, Elizabeth's style is her own too. Unique, confident and always cool, the stunning 22-year-old actress is just as dazzling in Topshop as she is in Chanel Couture, and oozes effortless elegance. A big fan of non-flashy outfits, prints and statement jewellery, Liz boasts fashion wisdom beyond her years, always chooses the right clothes to complement her shape, and accessorises to perfection without looking like a total try-hard.
Most likely to be seen shopping at Marni, The Row (MK and Ashley's lauded high-end label), Celine and Proenza Schouler.
Shailene Woodley
Otherwise known as The Switch-It-Up Stylista
Where have I seen her before? You can't miss her in George Clooney's Oscar-nominated movie, The Descendants.
Signature style She's only 20, but Shailene has been hitting the red carpet this year like a seasoned fashion pro. Following the trend-bucking tactics of Kristen Stewart but doing it way better, Shailene keeps it fresh and fun and is constantly trialling new looks. From showing off her awesome pins in cute, flirty frocks to nailing the androgenous vibe in a classic tux or working it in a couture gown, easy-going glam is where it's at for Ms Woodley, and we've not seen a look we don't like on this rising starlet.
Most likely to be seen shopping at Christian Dior, Topshop and Bloomingdale's.
Andrea Riseborough
Otherwise known as The Modern Femme Fatale
Where have I seen her before? Starring alongside Helen Mirren in Brighton Rock, and most recently as Wallis Simpson in Madonna- directed biopic, W.E.
Signature style Always feminine, but never frothy or overtly sexy, British actress Andrea is set for megastardom thanks to her role in W.E, as well as for her knockout dress sense. Both fashion-forward and a fan of vintage glamour, Andrea manages to combine two style sensibilities without looking contrived or confused. Retro- fabulous but never raunchy, it looks like her time with the Queen of Pop and her biggest role to date as one of the world's most stylish women has made its mark on this striking British beauty. With a fondness for Dior and D&G, favouring figure- enhancing silhouettes with a side order of pretty detailing, waist-clinchers and statement prints, we're seeing Andrea as a slightly more undone version of Dita Von Teese.
Most likely to be seen shopping at Vivienne Westwood, Marchesa, Christian Dior and Dolce & Gabbana.
