Three's a trend: Same dress, same event

It's the ulitmate fashion faux pas: Three Gucci flapper-style art deco dresses, three stars, one bash. So, whose stylist will never eat lunch in this town again?

  • From left to right: Zoe Saldana, Camilla Bella and Evan Rachel Wood all wore the same Gucci flapper-style art deco dresses to the recent LACMA's Art and Film Gala.

Camilla Belle

Style credentials Now better known for wearing dresses at fancy events, rather than her movies, 25-year-old Camilla scooped the Style Icon gong at this year’s Young Hollywood Awards
Previous couture copycat Camilla was spotted in the same pale blue floral Miu Miu dress at (yikes!) Courtney Love!
Camilla on style “I always dress to suit myself. There’s no point buying into a trend that doesn’t suit you, simply because it’s a trend.”
In a flap Getting totally in on the new flapper trend, be sure to check out Alice Cullen’s bridesmaid dress in Breaking Dawn – the vampire fashionista brings bite to the look.

Zoe Saldana

Style credentials Stunning newly single Zoe is not only a veritable fashion plate, but also runs her own style website, My fashion database
Previous couture copycat The Avatar star has so far style doppelgangered with Hilary Duff (in Isabel Marant), Eva Longoria (in Herve Leger) and January Jones (in Express).
Zoe on style “I love so many designers… But I look to find myself in them and not to get lost in them. So if I see an outfit from a designer that I really feel will complement my personality and I know that I would wear it well, I will definitely fight for it.”
In a flap For flapper style on a budget right now, head to New Look, where SCENE has seen plenty of drop-waist dresses and fringing.

Evan Rachel Wood

Style credentials Setting trends as opposed to following them, so far ERW has championed the masculine trend and the short hair trend.
Previous couture copycat She’d have been devastated about it, but Evan inadvertently plumped for the same Salvatore Ferragamo houndstooth pumps as Kim K recently.
Evan on style “There’s a lot more pressure on women to look a certain way, to be skinny, to be this and that. I think that’s one of the reasons why I chopped all my hair off. I was just like, ‘No, I’m not doing this.’”
In a flap For a nod to the trend as opposed to a full-on Charleston, pick up a pair of T-strap heels or a sparkly headpiece - done!
