She is a star of film and fashion and has flown the nest to study in the US. But Emma Watson hasn't forgotten her roots.

The 19-year-old actress appears to have secured her brother a job modelling alongside her for Burberry.

Executives at the brand signed up 17-year-old Alex for their latest national advertising campaign, shot by Mario Testino.

While it is Emma's second outing for the label, it is her brother's first big campaign.

Burberry's chief creative officer Christopher Bailey told how he met Alex, who is studying for his A levels, through Emma and "loved their dynamic, their brother and sister energy".

The pair are joined in the adverts by Matt Gilmour, 17, son of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour, and Max Hurd, 18, grandson of former foreign secretary Douglas Hurd. Also featured is musician George Craig, 20, from the indie band One Night Only.

Alex, who lives at the family home in Oxfordshire, was signed by modelling agency Storm last summer. He said of the Burberry contract: "It's such an honour to be part of it. It's really exciting."

His sister, who is studying English literature at Brown University, has made £10 million (Dh59.1 million) playing Hermione in the Harry Potter films.
