Dubai-filmed boxing reality show White Collar Dxb is coming back, with a new name: Fighting Fit Dubai.

Applications are now open for UAE residents for the eight-part reality TV show set to premiere on OSN in October. Fighting Fit Dubai will see a group of men and women take up the challenge to become champions of the boxing ring. The show will follow their fitness journey, the challenges they face along the way and will culminate in the finals in the ring.

“The title has been changed to reflect both the new look format of the show, and the international interest that Season 1 has received,” said Phil Griffiths, the director of Fighting Fit Dubai and co-founder of Nomad Productions, the show’s producer. “The show is all about contestants of all shapes and sizes, professions and nationalities, male and female, using the experience as a catalyst to change their lives. Boxing is the vehicle for them to achieve this change, but the focus is more holistic this time round; putting greater emphasis on strength, conditioning, lifestyle, nutrition, and psychology.”

50 potential contestants will be shortlisted to take part in the trials, which will include two teams of eight, and a team of reserve contestants. Those selected will then train under experts for eight weeks, after which the two teams of eight will compete against each other in the boxing ring on the final fight night.

Applications close Thursday, July 21. Go here to apply online. Alternatively, the account @FightingFitDubai will go live on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram on July 19, and will have instructions on how to apply.
