PopSugar’s workplace comedy Seriously Distracted will be back for another season with a new boss played by Nicole Richie.

Amy Sedaris led the ladies of Le Grande PR the first time around, but PopSugar Studios president David Grant said Thursday a new boss had been envisioned going forward.

Mae Whitman, who appeared in Parenthood and The Duff, will headline a new comedy on PopSugar that she produced, All My Friends are Getting Married. She plays Chloe, a single twentysomething staring down six bachelorette parties.

“This show resonated huge with our staff,” Grant said ahead of the company’s NewFront presentation. “They’re all going through that period in life when they’re looking around saying, ‘I’m single, and I’ve got to go to six bachelorette parties in a row. How am I going to handle this?’”

Episodes of both comedies are about 10 minutes each, but smaller bites will span Facebook, Instagram and other PopSugar social streams, Grant said.

Grant said “there’s definitely not a new direction” for the digital lifestyles company overall, with 75 million visitors a month.

“We had a great year, and the direction is more,” he said.

Style It girl Hannah Bronfman is on board for a trend-exploring show driven by her popular Instagram feed. In the first episode, she’ll have a look at the world of celebrity grills, as in those things Madonna, Katy Perry and a host of other celebrities wear on their teeth.

Bronfman will pay a visit on the New York City place where many are made.

PopSugar dates to 2006 and runs a popular stream for millennial moms, PopSugar Moms, on Facebook.
