UAE viewers can see the first episode of new series The Night Of, days before it premieres in the US.
The eight-part HBO series will screen on pay-TV network OSN’s on-demand service on July 1, ahead of the US premiere on July 10, and the first UAE TV airdate of July 11.
The Night Of stars Riz Ahmed as a Pakistani-American taxi driver accused of murdering a female stranger after a night of partying. The tale revolves around the night of the crime — hence the title — and is touted as a dark, mysterious crime drama that was inspired by BBC’s Criminal Justice, created by Peter Moffat. It also stars John Turturro, Poorna Jagannathan and Syam M. Lafi.
The series airs on Mondays on OSN at 10pm from July 11; non-OSN subscribers can watch the first two episodes of the series on OSN.com starting from July 12.
