A new season of I am a Nat Geo Photographer, a reality programme featuring aspiring photographers from around the Arab world, returns with a new season on March 20 on National Geographic Abu Dhabi.
The four-part show, shot in different countries across the Middle East and North Africa, features four amateur photographers who compete against one another in a series of challenges, as they try to capture pictures worthy of being featured in National Geographic Al Arabiya magazine. The 2018 season show is set in the UAE and the challenges take the contestants to iconic locations across the country.
In addition to the expert mentoring contestants will receive during the show, they will also receive intensive training at the Nikon school in the UAE, where they will further sharpen their creative and technical skills and mastery of the camera.
“I am a National Geographic Photographer will enable all audiences of reality TV shows and photography enthusiasts and specialists the opportunity to acquire new skills and enhance their talent and capabilities, with in-depth guidance on photography methods,” said Abdul Rahman Awadh Al Harthi, acting executive director of television at Abu Dhabi Media.
The show in Arabic airs on National Geographic Abu Dhabi on March 20 at 10pm UAE.
