The new season of Starstruck is back on television beginning on Tuesday.
Actor Dingdong Dantes and beauty queen Megan Young will be hosting the star-search series, which airs on GMA Pinoy TV.
The reality series has aired for the past ten years.
“So many lives have been touched by Starstruck in more than 10 years, especially mine. I am proud to be part of it,” Dantes said.
Dantes’ co-host, Young, was once a participant on Starstruck and is excited to be in the other side of the series.
“Being able to have the chance to witness the journey of the contenders is a humbling experience for me. Starstruck opened a lot of opportunities for me. And now that I’m one of the hosts, I’m excited to guide them to reach their dreams,” she said.
Starstruck alumni Mark Herras, Rocco Nacino and Miguel Tanfelix will be giving daily updates about the new season’s contestants, while Kris Bernal will be giving updates visa social media.
This season’s judges are actress Jennylyn Mercado, TV host and comedian Joey de Leon, singer and actress Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and Dingdong Dantes.
