When Katrina Kaif watched ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ in Abu Dhabi

Ever wondered how Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, who is back in Abu Dhabi to film her action thriller Tiger Zinda Hai, takes a break from filming in all that intense heat in the UAE?

Salman Khan’s co-star heads to the local cinemas to watch the new Shah Rukh Khan romance, Jab Harry Met Sejal.

According to sources, Kaif was accompanied by director Ali Abbas Zafar and nine others to catch the evening show at the Novo Cinemas at the World Trade Centre Mall on August 4.

While we cannot confirm if they loved the film or not, JHMS has opened to mixed reviews from the critics.

Gulf News tabloid! learnt that Kaif’s team purchased 11 tickets to the Novo 7-star viewing experience, a luxury service replete with a butler, leather recliners and some great grub apart from the usual popcorn and nachos fare.

Security was strong as Kaif watched the syrupy love story, that’s out in the UAE now.

The return of Kaif and Zafar in the UAE soil spells the resuming of the filming schedule for Tiger Zinda Hai, a spy drama that’s filled with action, deciet and espionage. Salman Khan, who plays the titular role of the spy Tiger, spearheads the project.

While Zafar and Kaif have been updating their fans on the progress of the shoot by chronicling their filming and its fun portions like Kaif doing push-ups in Morocco, the team were anchored in Abu Dhabi for several weeks in May.

They are back now to film the remaining portions. The film is tentatively scheduled to release in the UAE on December 21.
