Take a break from popular blockbusters and get a taste of world cinema with Germany’s acclaimed feature ‘Three Quarter Moon’. The film’s scriptwriter Ipek Zübert will attend the screening at Dubai Knowledge Village Conference Centre at 8pm on February 12. The movie, brought to Dubai by The Scene Club, has been the toast of film festivals including Dubai International Film Festival in 2011 and has won the Best Screenplay Award at the 2011 Bavarian Film Award.

‘Three Quarter Moon’ is billed as a “dramedy” that traces the life of an irritable cabbie Hartmut whose personal life is on the rocks. Enter a six-year-old Turkish passenger Hayat who alters the way he perceives life. Tickets are free but guests must register in advance at sceneclub.com and collect them from the registration desk at Dubai Knowledge Village Conference Centre at 7pm on the night of the screening.
