On Thursday night, event organisers BreakTHrough are hosting a free night of bean bags and short films at Classic Rock Coffee (Healthcare City) titled Screen Busters. Six original titles from the UAE will be shown starting at 8pm, some of which have won awards, and some of which have never been seen before.
The films include the action-comedy Muthu Protector by Neeraj Mehhta, the fashion-drama Deja Vu by Jacques Brown, the drama All in Time by Oliver Obeid, and the comedy Talent 21 by Kalyan Cakaravathy. On the edgier side, there’s the sci-fi-romance RomantiCorp and the art-horror flick High Stakes by Kirill Kripak, as well as the supernatural thriller Sleight by Faisal Hashmi.
