Cops Kabir (John Abraham) and Junaid (Varun Dhawan) are ready to roll with their new action adventure Dishoom, which was extensively filmed in Abu Dhabi.

The film will release in the UAE on July 28 and Dhawan even tweeted tabloid! on Monday morning hinting that he will be in the UAE soon to promote the film. Since they filmed over 45 days in across 30 locations across the capital, there’s a good chance the team will return for a premiere.

Directed by Dhawan’s older brother Rohit, and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Dishoom is described as an adrenaline-charged action film that documents the life of two policemen in the span of 36 hours as they their search for a missing person.

Abraham plays a nicotine-addled, reckless Special Task Investigative officer from India, who partners up with an Emirati-Indian cop, played by Dhawan, as they try to track down the missing man in an undisclosed Arab country. The scenes filmed in Abu Dhabi form an important part of the drama. The trailer of the film will be released on June 1.
