Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani will both release on December 18 in India (and December 17 in the UAE), but the actors of the two films are nonchalant about the clash.

Actress Priyanka Chopra, who features in period drama Bajirao Mastani, said: “We are not competing with Dilwale. People have made that notion that both the movies are competing.”

While Dilwale brings back the iconic on-screen pair of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, Bajirao Mastani features Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Chopra in a story about 18th century Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao.

“I think both of them are beautiful and different... The genres of both the films are different, and they are made by two prolific filmmakers,” Chopra added.

Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon, who is paired with Varun Dhawan in Dilwale, said: “I have seen the trailer of Bajirao Mastani and I loved it. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s world is very different and very lavish. It looks stunning.”

“I don’t [the clash] really matters. It’s a festive season and I don’t think it should be a problem,” she added.
