HOT PURSUIT

This one’s got dirty cops, gun-wielding gang members, a Latina bombshell, a legally blonde Academy Award-winner and plenty of laughs. Reese Witherspoon (Walk the Line, Wild) is a Texas law enforcement officer that plays by ALL the rules.

Sofia Vergara (Modern Family, Chef) is the widow of a drug lord that Witherspoon’s character must protect and transport across the state of Texas so she can testify against the cartel. Before it’s all said and done these hotties will be set up, shot at and hunted down. There’s enough girl power, road-trip buddy-flick to keep the ladies interested and you get to see plenty of Vergara.

IT FOLLOWS

This is by far the creepiest movie of 2015 — maybe even the decade. A girl is haunted by the sensation that she is being stalked by a supernatural presence. The only way to get rid of it is to give it to someone else. The problem: There is no way to know what “it” is.

This one will have you looking over your shoulder, around corners and into the shadows for weeks.

ABSOLUTION

Vinnie Jones is back and looking tougher than ever. This film centres on contract killer John Alexander (Steven Seagal) who wants to do one good thing before he dies… because guess what, he’s done a lot of bad! So he gets in touch with The Boss (Jones) who gives him the task: Get the girl back and kill the bad guys. Will he succeed? Will his one so-called act of goodness actually send him further down to hell? Let’s see shall we?

KAHLIL GIBRAN’S THE PROPHET

The classic book by Kahlil Gibran has been turned into an awesome new animation. Well it has to be awesome as one of the guys behind it was behind The Lion King. The different poems from the book have been adapted to animation and they’ve all been directed by some amazing different people.

Salma Hayek not only produces this movie, she provides the voice of Kamila and she says it’s the toughest thing she’s ever done, so that in itself makes it worth a watch. Damien Rice provides the soundtrack, Liam Neeson and John Krasinski also provide voices. A lot of people are behind this tale, which has been produced in more than 40 different languages. It’s going to be a hit.
