Andrew Garfield designed his character’s skateboard in The Amazing Spider-Man.
The actor said that it was his idea to include the item as a mode of transport for Peter Parker and director Marc Webb readily agreed.
“I designed it. It was my idea that Peter skateboarded and luckily Marc Webb put it in the movie,” eonline.com quoted Garfield as saying.
“It’s got all my [scientific] equations on it. I thought, he’s a science wiz, so why not have him do work on the board and then scratch it out and then paint it over and then scratch it again?” he added.
