A simple life for Ajram's baby

Nancy Ajram, who is expecting her first baby with husband Fadi Hashem, says she has chosen an Arabic name for her baby girl, but refused to reveal it.

Nancy said she wants her child to live a normal life unaffected by her fame. She also wants to return to work as soon as possible after giving birth as she believes that all women should be able to enjoy their motherhood without having to give up their career. The singer has also denied previous rumours that she had accepted an offer of $10 million to film the delivery of her baby and to air it on TV. Nancy said that giving birth is something personal and she wanted it to be a special, private moment.

Chaos at Husni show

Tamer Husni's concert in Cairo earlier this month turned into a big mess when some of the girls attending the concert started screaming and claiming they had been harassed by a group of male attendants.

This forced Husni to stop singing and go backstage for a while until things were settled

Some have said that the organiser of the concert, Hadi Adel was to blame. Adel, however, said the reports about what happened during the concert were not true. He denied that some people fainted because of over-crowding (about 100,000 fans attended the concert).

He said the ambulances that were at the scene were just a precautionary measure, and no one was hurt. He also said he would send a video to all TV stations to prove the concert went smoothly. So, who should we believe?

Zaki denies reports

Egyptian actress Mona Zaki has denied reports that she had refused to work with Egyptian singer Amr Diab on his new film Al Helm (the dream).

Mona said she would never hesitate to work with Amr Diab because he is the Arab world's idol as well as being a great singer. Unfortunately, she says, she has yet to receive an offer to act in his film!
