Wald International is a Japanese tuning company usually catering to ultra-high horsepower machines, or to the Bippu movement prominent in Japan.

Bippu, of course, is the VIP style of modifying saloon cars by slamming them down onto the ground, dialing in absurd angles of negative camber and slapping on huge chrome rims.

But besides Lexus, Infiniti and Honda, Wald International will also sell you bodykits for your Rolls-Royce, Bentley, or Aston Martin, for example. Even minivans don’t go unnoticed…

But up until now, the new Toyota 86 has gone unnoticed, because Wald has, just this week, released its plans to dress the little sportscar up to the tees.

Keep in mind that the tuning programme hasn’t been given the green light yet, as
these are just preview images, but the plans are substantial.

Whether you call it a Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S, or Toyota 86, Wald’s kit for the Toyobaru follows the JDM school of thought with a much more aggressive snow-plough front apron and a bigger mesh-grille intake set in the bumper, plus new side skirts, fender vents, rear spoiler, and an integrated rear diffuser flanked by a quad-tip exhaust system.
