Dubai: Arabian Automobiles Co, sales agents for Infiniti in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, recently released first-quarter sales figures in the UAE.

Sales of Infiniti cars rose 183 per cent to 552 in the first quarter of 2006 from 195 in the same period last year.

"Infiniti has been gaining countrywide recognition at an amazing rate," said Michel Ayat, Arabian Automobiles general manager.

"We attribute this massive sales growth to Infiniti's Total Ownership Experience, proving that Infiniti is undoubtedly a tier one luxury brand."

Infiniti was re-launched in the GCC market in 2004, first appearing in the region many years ago in the form of the Infiniti Q luxury sedan, and has quickly become one of the most highly respected luxury brands in the region.

Sales have been more than doubling every year, and the trend is expected to continue with a new selection of Infiniti vehicles reaching the market, starting with the all-new Infiniti M.

"Infiniti is a total ownership experience," says Ayat.

"It is our commitment to excellent service for a great product that has made Infiniti so popular in the UAE. The addition of future products such as the M can only help Infiniti grow even more in the region and we are more than looking forward to that. We aim to make Infiniti the premium luxury brand in the UAE and I believe we can accomplish that."
