They’ve been artfully ‘avoiding’ questions about their reignited relationship as Breaking Dawn: Part 2 promotions heat up, but onlookers at the parties they’ve been seen at say it isn’t all as happy as it seems, with Kristen looking noticeably self-conscious and uncomfortable when Rob touches her.
“Maybe she’s just not that into you R-Patz,” joked one bystander who spied the pair out for dinner at Beatrice Inn in New York.
“He popped in around 10pm and was nursing a beer and chatting with pals when a casually dressed Stewart… arrived half an hour later,” spilled a NY daily.
The newspaper added: “Immediately, diners felt a chill in the air… later, Stewart sheepishly turned her head when he moved in for a smooch, and Stewart said: ‘Don’t kiss me’.”
“I kept hoping that Rob would end up dumping Kristen after the promotional tour of Breaking Dawn Part 2 is over,” weighed in one Hollywood watcher, “but I think we all need to entertain the possibility that Kristen might do the dumping. I think she messed around with Rupert Sanders because she was (subconsciously or consciously) looking for a way out with Rob.”
