A whole new Hamlet

Kalki Koechlin, Atul Kumar and Namit Das lead a stellar Bollywood cast to bring Shakespeare’s masterpiece Hamlet to the stage in Dubai in Hamlet – The Clown Prince. Enjoy the classic tragedy as you’ve never seen it before, performed by a group of blundering clowns trying to put on their own performance of Hamlet, naturally misinterpreting and sabotaging the iconic play, and with hilarious results. Expect to hear all of the famous lines – we’re sure there will be a “To be or not to be” thrown in there – mixed with the clown gibberish, in this slapstick approach to Shakespeare’s famous work.

Although there are plenty of funny moments, the reinterpretation gets to the tragic heart of the beloved play, with plenty of poignant moments along the way. Cost Tickets Dh150-Dh350
