The British singer performed a stunning acoustic set at event hosted by the airline
Jessie J soared on Friday night at a private party put on by British Airways to celebrate the launch of their 787-9 aircraft.
The British singer was joined by Lord of the Rings star Orlando Bloom and Australian actress Margot Robbie at the party on Nurai Island, a luxury getaway off the coast of Abu Dhabi.
Jessie J, sporting a freshly shaven head, took to the stage for an acoustic performance with a guitarist that left the crowd stunned by her pure vocals. Saying she had not performed in a while, she worked her way through her hits such as Price Tag, Domino and Bang Bang, even attempting Nicki Minaj’s rap from the latter, and joking that the Trinidadian singer would not be impressed.
Bloom and Robbie’s appearances were less impressive — the crowd swooned for the actor but he had little to say other than expressing his love of BA’s in flight tea and scones before heading off to a private room. Robbie — a star of Wolf Of Wall Street and appearing in the upcoming Suicide Squad — invited the crowd to join her for drinks at the bar.
